Yes, my name is Phoenix. And that is because I was found on Phoenix Street in Peekskill. You see, when the Animal Control Officer was called to pick me up I could not find my credentials that would let him know my name. When I got to the shelter I still did not have my credentials and so I was given the name Phoenix. I actually like the name as it is unusual for a cat and I am an unusual homeless cat. I am a young boy who is (I think) very handsome, warm, friendly, and I enjoy the company of humans. Please ask the staff to introduce us. My name is Phoenix! No appointment is necessary to come in and meet/adopt an animal unless noted differently above. You may also fill out an Application when you get here. We do same day adoptions. Please note, we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved Application with us this does not necessarily guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog. All Cats and Kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Veterinarian check from a participating Vet! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. Fees are as follows: A kitten 1 year and under is $150, 2 Kittens are $225, Adult cats over 1 year are $75 and Lonely Hearts Club Members/Seniors are $55.
