I would like to assure you that I am not just another stray. I tell you this because that is what I heard said when someone asked about me. I am a young guy (about 2-3 years old) and I was brought to the SPCA by the local Animal Control Officer. There was a family that noticed me when I was wandering around and they invited me to go home with them. But I declined because I am not sure I want to live with a family where there are young children (I do not know why but they scare me sometimes). I had been living with a family for quite some time but some circumstances changed and they had to move away and could not take me. I am hoping to find another family soon. But until then, the SPCA is a good place to hang for a while. Please visit and ask the Staff to introduce us. Please fill out an Adoption Application if you'd like to jumpstart the adoption process. No appointment is necessary to come in and meet/adopt an animal unless noted differently above. You may also fill out an Application when you get here. We do same day adoptions. Please note, we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved Application with us this does not necessarily guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog. All Cats and Kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Veterinarian check from a participating Vet! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. Fees are as follows: A kitten 1 year and under is $150, 2 Kittens are $225, Adult cats over 1 year are $75 and Lonely Hearts Club Members/Seniors are $55.
