Sweet Henny has been waiting patiently for his forever home. Brought in as a stray, it was very apparent that someone must have really loved this dog at some point, as he was constantly wagging his tail and greeting everyone with kisses! However, no one ever claimed this sweet boy, so here he waits. Henny is in a foster home because he had to get one of his back legs amputated. It appears that he had sustained an inqury before coming to us that never healed properly and unfortunately, surgery did not correct the problem, therefore we made the tough decision to remove one of his back legs. That doesn't seem to stop Henny though! He still zips around with the best of them! Henny is being fostered in a home with other dogs, cats and kids! However, he would prefer to be the only dog in the home. You couldn't ask for a sweeter, more loyal companion than Henny. He constantly wants to be with his people, which is why a home with someone that is typically there and doesn't work long hours would be ideal for him. If this is for a special adoption event, which would be noted above, please follow the special instructions, otherwise, just bring your completed application with you! You may fill out an application at the shelter as well. Please note we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet a animal, this does not guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog. All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Vet check from a participating Vet! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. High Kill Shelter Rescues, both Puppies and Adults are $325, All Puppies are $325 and Local Stray Adults over 1 year of age are $130.
